Formats of Manuscript:

All manuscript must be written in English and should be typed double-spaced with wide margin on all sides. Text should be in Times New Roman. First page of the paper should be headed with the title page, (in capital, font size 14), the name of the authors (in capital, font size 12) and full address of the institutions with pin code, where the work was carried out including email address. One author should be designated as the corresponding author with contact details. Author Names as Last name, followed full first name, corresponding author of the manuscript must be marked and  address of the Institution were work done. Other part of manuscripts should be neatly typed, 1.5 lines-spaced throughout, including tables, on pages of uniform size with at least 1.5 cm margins. The manuscript should be divided in to Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion (or Result and Discussion together), Conclusion, Acknowledgements (If any) and Reference.


Abstract should maximum of 250 words and should be data oriented reflecting the major findings with a line of conclusion. It should not be structured and theoretical / textual material should be avoided. Standard abbreviation and units should be used, Sl. units are recommended. Abbreviations should be defined at first appearance and their use in the title and abstract should be avoided. Generic name of chemical should be used. Genus and species names should be typed in italics. Sub-headings should not be in italics.

Keyword or Abbreviation:

3-5 key world or abbreviation should be written.


The manuscript should include a brief introduction stating the purpose of the investigation and relating the manuscript to similar previous research. Only information essential to the arguments should be presented, citation of similar important literature, need of the present work with a line of hypothesis. The introduction should preferably conclude with a final paragraph stating concisely and clearly the aims and objective of your investigation. References in the text should be quoted by the author’s name & year in parenthesis. When there are more than two authors the reference should be quoted as: first author followed by et al., throughout the text.

Materials and Methods:

Materials and Methods should include a brief technical descriptions of the methodology adopted with proper citation while a detailed description is required if the methods are new.

Results and Discussion:

The results should be concisely presented. Results and discussion may be separate or combined based on the author’s requirement.

(i)     Tables: – Tables should be used wherever necessary and should have rows and columns to correlate the variables. It should be cell- based type (Microsoft word tables or Excel tables). Do not use tabs or hard returns during preparation of tables. Do not send us tables as graphics. Tables should be as compact as possible. Unnecessary rows and columns can be avoided. The table should be single spaced and separated from the text. The font can be of same size used in the text of the manuscript. Do not divide the table in to sub tables and not to use vertical or horizontal rules/lines. Table should be numbered accordingly in numeric order. The table should be numbered in Roman numeral followed by the title. The title should be one-line title in bold text with font size 12. Abbreviations can be used if needed and abbreviations that are used only in a table should be defined in the footnotes to that table and should be designated with superscript/subscript letters. Avoid “Ditto” marks. The units used should be in SI    nomenclature or the nomenclature common to a particular field. Unusual units or abbreviations can be defined in the legend. Use well known statistical test in preference to obscure ones. All tables must be cited sequentially in the text.

(ii) Figure: – Figure should be used in GIF/TIFF/JPEG format if necessary. The figures should be comprehensible for the readers and should help them in understanding the paper. Unnecessary figures should be avoided. Avoid unnecessary coloring and excessive details. The title should be one-line title in bold text with font size 12. Abbreviations can be used if needed and abbreviations that are used only in the figures should be defined in the footnotes to that figure. The title should describe the contents so each illustration can be understood on considering apart from the text. All figures should be numbered in roman numerals and should be cited in the text accordingly. The image/photograph should be cropped to show essential details. Magnification can be indicated by inserting the scale bar. The image/photograph should be clear and of high quality. Poor blurred or out of focus letters/symbols are not acceptable. The units used should be SI nomenclature or the nomenclature common to a particular field. Unusual units or abbreviations can be defined in the legend.


Manuscript should have relevant brief conclusion (limit of 350) and should reflect the importance and future scope.


The Journal advocates the citation of new papers; old references are better replaced with updated ones. The authors are responsible for the correctness of references. References should be kept to a minimum and listed in alphabetical order. The list on reference at the end of the text should be in the following format.

  1. Authors name (Full Title name first then abbreviation of Frist and middle name), paper title, Year, Volume (issue) and page number viz. Ncibi, S.; Ben Othman, M.; Akacha, A.; Krifi, M.N. and Zourgui, L. Opuntia ficus indica extract protects against chlorpyrifos-induced damage on mice liver. Food Chem Toxicol. 2008; 46(2): 797-802.
  2. Where more than one paper with same senior author has appeared in on year the references should be distinguished in the text and in the references by letter arranged alphabetically followed by the citation of the year i.e., 2004a, 2004b.


Investigators should follow the highest standards for the humane care and use of animals in research. The minimum number of animals that meets rigorous scientific and statistical standards should be used. Research animals shall be properly housed and fed, and their surroundings shall be kept in a sanitary condition. The animals shall receive appropriate anesthetics, analgesics, tranquilizers or care to minimize pain and discomfort during preoperative, operative and postoperative procedures. All experiments using animals should be done under the approval of an institutional animal experiment committee and this should be stated and documented in the text. For experiments on human subjects, informed consent must be obtained from the patients, and the experiments must be approved by an institutional human research committee. This must be stated and documented in the text.


Plagiarism is a serious issue around the world in the arena of manuscript writing. Plagiarism means “Use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one’s own original work.” this has been noticed that, authors are simply copying scientific data and information from the other published papers, which is an awful practice in academic fraternity. The authors are requested to please adopt the holistic & pragmatic approach to design the manuscript of interest. The journal will not be responsible for further action on Plagiarism issue. The author will be solely responsible for plagiarism issue.

Review Articles:

Review articles are concise and critical surveys of novel accomplishments in the author’s research field and should bring up the most important current topics or present interpretative and critical accounts, but not simple compilation, on subjects of general interest. The work need not be complete; however, supporting experimental data must be described. They should be around 10 pages. Case Reports are the critical surveys of any complication performed in any region, area or demography to study and focus the causes and exclusion of complication.

Proof :

Page proofs will send by e-mail to the corresponding author. The corrected proofs should be return to the Executive Editor within 7 days of receipt. The delay in sending the proof may shift the paper of the next issue. Correspondence through e-mail will only be entertained. Journal will be available for subscription before final publication of issue.   No gratis reprints are supplied. Subscription may be by of payment cash deposit or electronic transfer (/NEFT/RTGS) as directed. The journal will not be sent without proper payment cost in due time.

Review Process                                                   

Submitted manuscript is presented in Editorial Board for acceptance or not for IJBASR. If yes, then confirmation from every author by e-mail will take then manuscript will provisionally accepted, manuscript number will be assign for the future correspondence and information will be given to corresponding authors that your paper is provisionally accepted. After paying publication charge, manuscript will be sent for peer-review to the reviewers. After receiving the reviewers report/ comments, the report will be communicated to the authors for possible corrections if any. After correction authors will be directed to submit revised manuscript within the time limit. After the submission of revised manuscript, it will be sent for re-review to the reviewers and the final proof as recommended by reviewers, will be communicated to the authors followed by the publication in respective/upcoming issues.
